Constella is a recruitment platform designed to uncover hidden talent in underrepresented regions. Through service design, co-design workshops, and UX prototyping, our team reimagined how companies can discover and support “star candidates.” The project combined research with system-level design and resulted in service blueprints and UX prototypes illustrating both candidate and company journeys.
Outcome

A recruitment service concept that connects non-networked job seekers with companies through talent satellites, co-designed challenges, and an AI-supported platform.
Design Challenge
How might we create equal chances in recruitment processes for non-connected candidates, giving both recruiters and candidates a genuine impression of each other, while remaining efficient?
Process
Stakeholder Interviews & Candidate Journey Mapping

Conducted interviews with 10 job candidates and 2 HR managers to uncover pain points around feedback and transparency in candidate journeys.
Co-Design Workshop

Facilitated a co-design session with graduating students to identify their needs and expectations in recruitment, collaboratively shaping activities and features for the service.
Co-Design Workshop

Branding & Design System

Created a cohesive visual identity and component-based design system that ensured consistency, accessibility, and scalability across the platform.
High-Fidelity Prototype & Usability Testing

Designed interactive Figma prototype to test navigation and accessibility. Tested with students and mock recruiters. Refined layout and feedback clarity.
Final Outcome
The final service combines a transparent recruitment platform with a supporting system that helps organizations design fairer, feedback-driven hiring processes

Candidate Offering Map

Defined key touchpoints and value propositions for candidates, mapping how the service supports transparency, growth, and engagement throughout the recruitment process.
Recruiter Offering Map

Outlined the recruiter-facing touchpoints to clarify workflows, feedback loops, and collaboration opportunities within the platform’s ecosystem.
Candidate & Recruiter User Journeys

Visualized end-to-end candidate and recruiter journeys to highlight critical interactions, feedback exchanges, and opportunities for fairer, more human-centered recruitment experiences.
AI Interview Simulation

Designed an AI-assisted interview dashboard that helps candidates practice responses and receive transparent, skill-based feedback to prepare for real assessments.
HR Dashboard

Developed the recruiter interface for managing candidate pools, reviewing reports, and tracking hiring progress, focused on accessibility, clarity, and data transparency.
Reflection

This project taught me how to translate fairness and transparency into digital user experiences. It strengthened my ability to connect complex service systems with clear, accessible, and ethical design outcomes.
